About Us:
FIORE Artisan Olive Oils and Vinegars was established in 2009 and has served the Freeport community since 2012 . Our mission is to provide the freshest and highest quality Extra Virgin Olive Oils, specialty oils, balsamic vinegars, and specialty foods from around the world. We pride ourselves in having in-depth knowledge of these products and their stories, as well as a desire to share this with our customers. We are looking for individuals who share the same passion for food, tradition, authenticity, and hospitality to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and share your enthusiasm for our products.
- Develop a deep knowledge of the products offered; including origin, production process, and relevant uses.
- Convey product knowledge to customers in a conversational way
- Ensure that products are available for both sample and sale by labelling and filling bottles
- Fill orders, both retail and wholesale, in an efficient and timely manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Perform supply preparation tasks on an ongoing basis
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to foster a culture of enthusiasm for our products and be able to convey that to our customers.
- Have an interest in food and cooking
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 40 lbs. regularly
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. at shoulder height or over head on occasion
- Ability to stand and walk for 6 hours at a time
