Galiano Wine Bar & Restaurant is a boutique wine-focused restaurant built around thoughtful hospitality, elevated food, and our own wines produced in California. We are a small, highly intentional team focused on creating a polished and memorable guest experience.
This is not a high-volume nightclub or traditional bar environment. Service, attention to detail, and hospitality come first.
Position Overview
We are seeking bartenders who are professional, hospitality-driven, and excited to be part of building something from the ground up.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced but refined environment, has strong communication skills, and takes pride in both guest interaction and overall service quality.
Wine knowledge is appreciated, but personality, professionalism, and willingness to learn are equally important.
Responsibilities
- Execute beverage service with consistency and attention to detail
- Prepare cocktails, wine service, and beer service efficiently and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Support overall front-of-house service and guest experience
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen, and management throughout service
- Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and general operational readiness
- Uphold presentation and hospitality standards at all times
Qualifications
- Previous hospitality or bartending experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and peak service periods
- Interest in wine and hospitality-driven service
- Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
