- Perform vehicle diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify electrical and mechanical faults.
- Use hand tools and power tools to repair or replace damaged parts, including batteries, tires, belts, and other components.
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks like fluid checks, tire replacements, and brake inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
- Document all repairs and services performed accurately, maintaining detailed records for each service call.
- Communicate clearly with customers, explaining repairs needed and providing professional advice for ongoing vehicle care.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and industry standards during all repair activities.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle repair or maintenance.
- Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters.
- Prior experience working with vehicle electrical systems or performing roadside repairs is preferred.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
