We are looking for an energetic, relationship-driven sales professional to help grow our small hotel’s business. This role will focus on bringing in more corporate guests, local business accounts, group bookings, and leisure travelers through proactive outreach, partnerships, and smart sales planning. · Build leisure demand through partnerships with travel advisors, local attractions, event organizers, and regional tourism opportunities.
· Conduct sales calls, site tours, and networking outreach to promote the hotel’s rooms, meeting space, and guest experience.
· Negotiate rates, packages, and contracts that balance guest value with hotel revenue goals.
· Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and follow up consistently to convert inquiries into bookings.
· Work closely with front desk, reservations, and operations teams to deliver a smooth guest experience for booked accounts and groups.
· Track market trends, competitor activity, and local demand patterns to identify new revenue opportunities.
· Prepare weekly sales activity reports, booking forecasts, and account updates for leadership.
· Help create special offers and seasonal promotions that attract both business and leisure travelers.
· Represent the hotel at community events, business associations, and trade networking opportunities.
Qualifications
· 2+ years of sales, business development, or hotel hospitality sales experience preferred.
· Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to prospect independently and manage multiple accounts at once.
· Comfortable using CRM tools, email, spreadsheets, and sales reports.
· Understanding of hotel operations, room inventory, and guest service standards is a plus.
· Results-oriented, organized, and motivated by achieving revenue goals.
· Flexible schedule for occasional evening events, local travel, or weekend networking activity if needed.
