RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide exemplary customer service skills
Dispatch appropriate emergency agencies as needed
Interpret alarm signal activity and initiate quick response
Verification phone calls on alarm signals
Coordinate communications between premises representatives and authorities
Manage high volume of incoming/outgoing phone calls
Notify proper contacts of non-emergency signals
Handle incoming calls from customers, dealers, and technicians
Interpret alarm activity and events to responsible contacts
Enter account information and zone data at technicians' request
Some clerical work
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to remain calm in emergency situations
Excellent communication skills
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Strong attention to detail
Computer literate
High school diploma or equivalent
18 years or older
Pass background check and drug test (due to Federal laws, this includes marijuana)
Ability to walk up and down stairs
This current position requires flexibility in availability, and will often require working weekends, evenings, and/or holidays. Our Monitoring Center runs 24/7, weekends, and holidays to monitor emergency alarms and signals. Major holidays offer guaranteed time and a half pay. 4 Day Workweek scheduling will begin after completion of training (training is done five days a week on dayshift).
