Job Summary
The Commercial Service Journeyman Plumber is responsible for overseeing, installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial and industrial facilities. This non-union role requires advanced technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and compliance with all applicable plumbing codes and safety regulations. Journeyman Plumber may supervise other plumbers and apprentices while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
· Install, inspect, maintain, and repair commercial plumbing systems including water, drainage, gas, and sewer systems
· Diagnose plumbing issues and implement effective solutions
· Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
· Ensure compliance with all plumbing codes and regulations
· Supervise and mentor plumbers and apprentices
· Coordinate with contractors and project managers
· Perform preventative maintenance and routine service
· Respond to emergency service calls
· Maintain service records and documentation
· Follow all safety standards and procedures
Qualifications
· Valid Master Plumber License (required)
· 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience
· Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and codes
· Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
· Strong troubleshooting skills
· Good communication and customer service skills
· Valid driver's license
Work Environment
Commercial and industrial job sites. May require working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions. Some after-hours or on-call work may be required.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift 50+ pounds
· Standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods
· Manual dexterity to operate tools
Compensation & Benefits
Non-union position with annual compensation up to $75,000 depending on experience. May include overtime opportunities, health benefits, and company vehicle/tools where applicable.

Pay: $29.00 - $36.00 per hour
