American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for an inpatient rehab assignment at a Level 1 Trauma facility, with Epic EMR experience required.

Inpatient rehabilitation unit setting
-
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule
-
40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts
-
No weekend or holiday shifts required
-
No floating requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required

Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) license required; license required if applicable

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) required

Epic EMR experience required

Level 1 Trauma experience required

New graduates will be considered

Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients of all ages, developing and adjusting individualized plans of care, and documenting in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards

Collaborates with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary medical team throughout the rehabilitation process, including discharge planning and equipment recommendations

Provides supervision to PTAs and rehabilitation technicians in accordance with regulatory guidelines

Utilizes standardized outcomes measures to accurately reflect functional performance

Candidate interviews are conducted by facility leadership

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract

Contingent workers may not be on continuous assignment for more than 1 year at this health system; a 6-month break in service is required before returning after reaching the 1-year mark
