ROLE OVERVIEW
The Sales Coordinator is the heartbeat of Yoga Sangha’s daily operations and the primary driver of our sales ecosystem. This position blends customer experience, sales, front desk execution, and on-shift leadership to ensure that Yoga Sangha delivers a seamless, high-touch experience every day. The Sales Coordinator reports directly to the manager.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales, Membership Growth & Lead Management
This is one of the primary functions of the Sales Coordinator. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting sales conversations with leads, intro clients, and in-studio prospects.
- Review new emails and text messages that come in and respond accordingly. Record outcome of sales conversations in appropriate spreadsheet or tracking system.
- Making outreach to leads via phone, text, and email to build rapport and close intro offers.
- Guiding intro clients through their trial with personalized follow-up and structured touchpoints.
- Tracking all touchpoints in the designated systems and executing the full follow-up process.
- Staying fully informed on current pricing, promotions, and membership options.
- Conducting high-quality studio tours that support the sales process.
- Supporting client retention with thoughtful outreach and reactivation where needed.
Client Experience & Hospitality
The Sales Coordinator will:
- Create a warm, personalized welcome for every client when in the studio.
- Offer individualized attention and anticipate client needs.
- Respond to all client inquiries promptly, professionally, and thoroughly.
- Troubleshoot account, booking, or tech issues.
- Address concerns with grace, using excellent judgment when escalating.
- Uphold a service-first mindset that turns everyday interactions into memorable ones.
Systems, Reporting & Administrative Support
The Sales Coordinator performs key backend functions that support sales and daily operations:
- Running designated sales/retention reports and communicating KPI updates weekly.
- Tracking leads, conversions, renewals, cancellations, and revenue-driving metrics.
- Maintaining the studio email account and ensuring timely replies.
- Use various systems, such as task management tools, booking software, etc. to work seamlessly with management team.
KPI EXPECTATIONS
Sales performance is a core measure of success. Performance in this role is measured primarily by sales and client retention indicators. This includes but is not limited to:
- Lead conversions
- Membership retention indicators
- Quality, speed, and consistency of client communications
- Reliable execution of all operational responsibilities
COMPENSATION
- $20/hour base pay + commission
- This is a part time role requiring approximately 20 hours per week.
- This is a hybrid position. Most work can be done remotely with occasional in studio presence required.
