The Manufacturing Associate position is a hybrid role that includes operating a water jet, running a saw and doing assembly work. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining specifications.
- Operate water jet and other precision machinery to manufacture components.
- Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize manufacturing processes and adhere to safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following lean manufacturing principles.
Qualifications
- Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge
- Familiarity with basic math and machining techniques
- Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and hand tools
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and assembly processes
