Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical Sr. Inventory Accountant to join a growing, private equity-backed e-commerce and retail brand in Grapevine, TX. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this role is essential to maintaining pristine financial records, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and driving data-backed financial choices as our business continues to scale. As a core member of a collaborative, high-caliber team, you will manage day-to-day accounting functions across multiple sales channels, with a heavy emphasis on inventory tracking, multi-channel revenue recognition, and supporting the month-end close.

Key Responsibilities
- Inventory & Cost Accounting: Own daily inventory accounting workflows, including standard costing, comprehensive reconciliations, and asset valuation.
- Multi-Channel Ledger Management: Align financial records with retail industry best practices, ensuring accurate booking for revenue, expenses, and Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) across e-commerce channels, wholesale partners, and third-party marketplaces.
- Financial Closing & Reporting: Drive the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of financial statements, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with supply chain and operations teams to monitor inventory movements, resolve variance discrepancies, and optimize financial reporting systems (NetSuite).
- Audit & Compliance Support: Assist with internal and external financial audits, corporate tax filings, and ongoing compliance needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related
- 3+ years’ Accounting (post-college)
- 1+ years’ Accounting within the retail industry
- Inventory Accounting Mastery: including standard costing, valuation, and reconciliation for inventory
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools
Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
