Position Overview
We are seeking an Outsourced Controller / Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager who will oversee accounting operations for multiple clients while helping strengthen and grow long-term client relationships. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, manage day-to-day accounting functions, lead month-end financial close processes, provide financial reporting and analysis, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and play a critical role in scaling Xacct Solutions as our business expands.

Key Responsibilities
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary financial contact for a portfolio of outsourced accounting clients
- Build strong long-term relationships with business owners and executive teams
- Lead recurring financial review meetings with clients
- Provide proactive financial insights and recommendations to improve business performance
Accounting & Controller Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day bookkeeping functions across multiple client accounts
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger activity
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management functions
- Ensure financial records are accurate and maintained in accordance with GAAP
- Establish and improve accounting processes and internal controls
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements
- Analyze financial performance, trends, and key operating metrics
- Assist clients with annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and working capital analyses
- Identify financial risks and opportunities for operational improvement
Leadership & Growth Responsibilities
- Help build and improve scalable internal processes at Xacct Solutions
- Assist in onboarding new clients and transitioning accounting processes
- Support development of service offerings and operational efficiencies
- Contribute to business development opportunities and company growth initiatives
- Play a leadership role in helping expand the Xacct Solutions platform over time
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end close procedures, and general ledger accounting
- Experience managing bookkeeping and accounting operations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business owners and leadership teams
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA license strongly preferred
- Public accounting background preferred
- Controller, outsourced accounting, or fractional CFO experience preferred
- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms
