Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, handling reservations, inquiries, and guest requests with clarity and friendliness
- Check guests in and out smoothly using hotel management software such as OPERA, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide comprehensive guest services, including answering questions about hotel amenities, local attractions, and emergency procedures
- Handle guest concerns promptly, demonstrating strong customer service skills and knowledge of hotel emergency procedures to resolve issues effectively
- Assist with night audit responsibilities when scheduled, reconciling accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy overnight
- Maintain a clean, organized front desk area while adhering to hospitality standards and resort experience best practices
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort setting
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities to serve diverse guest populations with ease and professionalism
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, ensuring every visitor feels welcomed and valued
- Familiarity with hotel management systems such as OPERA or similar platforms for reservations and guest data management
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures to respond confidently during urgent situations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems effectively
- Previous experience in night audit functions is a plus, demonstrating attention to detail and financial accuracy
