The Party Bee, a catering and party planning company specializing in elegant Southern comfort and tea parties, is seeking a person with culinary and banquet experience. The candidate should have a focus on hospitality, management, and leading teams. The position requires working in a business structure with professional communication skills. Candidates should be detail-oriented and hospitality-driven. This position offers a opportunity to grow into a manager position at a thriving nearly 20 year old business. Schedule will reflect frequency of parties- ranging from 10-20 per month. Most parties take place on weekends and evenings. Weekly food and party preparation takes place on weekdays on a week-by-week schedule. Ideal candidates are ones with a flexible schedule where they can commit to events approx. 2 weeks in advance and arrange their other jobs around party dates. This is a contract job with hourly pay, no health insurance is available.
Duties
- Working on-site at clients' homes and venues preparing and presenting food, setting up and breaking down event equipment
- overseeing a service team of bartenders and hostess helpers to execute events
- managing party rentals and inventory
- errands and deliveries using your own personal vehicle
- participating in weekly virtual staff meetings

Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
