Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team, responsible for the maintenance and repair of various types of vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, with experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, including but not limited to automotive repair, brake repair, and transmission work.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and automotive diagnostic tools.
- Operate various hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding vehicle issues and repairs.
Experience
- Previous mechanic experience is required; dealership experience is a plus.
