Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing general ledger reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy in all accounting tasks. Duties:
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Manage accounts payable processes, including processing invoices and payments
- Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and analysis
- Apply knowledge of GAAP principles to maintain compliance in financial reporting
- Assist with technical accounting tasks as needed
- Support corporate accounting functions by preparing financial reports and statements
- Conduct detailed account analysis to provide insights for decision-making
Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel/ Quick Books
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent 10 key typing skills for accurate data entry
- Ability to perform general ledger reconciliations effectively
- Experience with account reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of GAAP standards and regulations
- Familiarity with technical accounting concepts
- Previous experience as an accounting clerk or similar role is a plus
- Strong background in corporate accounting practices
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail
