No experience required, but is beneficial
Strong work ethic & be prepared to work hard
Have a "mechanical" aptitude
Have a respect for the Plumbers who are training you
Are professional around people and customers
Must have a "career" mindset, we only train apprentices who are looking for a future and not a paycheck
Possess exception character

Apprentice Positions

Hourly Pay, Bonuses & Financial Section

**We are a RESIDENTIAL SERVICE COMPANY (with some light commercial service) located in Dickinson, TX. Residential service experience is beneficial but not required for all apprentice positions.

Apprentice - Hourly Scale

$14 - $17 Hour

Based on merit/experience & length of employment.

Apprentice - Year End Bonus

$200 Annually

Available each year after 1 year of employment. (This is the apprentice package, other packages offer different bonuses.)

Longevity Bonus

$5,400 (3 Yrs)

NOTE: Plumbers get $11K (3 Yrs) / $51K (10 Yrs) / $111K (20 Yrs). This benefit is something our apprentices can look forward to increasing substantially as they learn the trade, get their license and invest in the Company. Accrues & can be cashed out every 3 years. Examples above are what accrued amounts would be over different lengths of time for quick reference.

Company Growth Bonus

$200 Monthly Per Added Truck

JOURNEYMAN, TRADESMAN, & OFFICE STAFF RECEIVE $500 MONTH. This is a substantial MONTHLY additional bonus each licensed plumber, apprentice & certain office staff receive for each new plumber that joins our crew over our base requirement. The bonus paid is PER additional truck and not capped. (Similar to a profits interest in a set, flat dollar amount.)

Raises

Annually 4 - 5%

These are the raise percentages available annually and are determined by standards in place that are based on merit (not sales).

Paid Time Off - 1 Week

Paid time off can be used for sick days, vacation, etc. PTO is available after 1 year of employment. (This is the apprentice package, other positions may be different.)

Holiday Pay

Our entire team is paid Holiday pay for days the Company is closed & deems a paid Holiday. (Currently Holidays are New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day) *Weekend Holidays are not lost! Take either Monday or Friday off OR opt to have the (8) hours of Holiday pay added to your check even if a day is not taken off.

Monthly Family Bonus Benefit

Everyone living The Lanco Life picks the bonus benefit for the year they want to receive for their family each month. A little something extra. Just because. Options are one of the following:

Monthly membership that can be selected for either employee use or spouse use (monthly massage or monthly chiropractic).

Annual Family Mini Vaca!

Lanco pays for an annual mini getaway to provide some adventure for our team and their families. There are typically 2 to 4 options the Company selects each year for destinations and the mini package includes:

2 Nights Hotel Stay
$50 Fuel Card

There is also an option to "cash out" the mini vaca, however this benefit is designed to encourage our team to take the time to rest from work & spend time with family and friends - cash out is for a lesser value. (This is the apprentice package, other positions may receive a different package.)

Health Insurance

We have an affordable health insurance plan available for all employees and their families. Company pays 50% of employee AND family premiums. Current plan and rates available for review upon interview if desired.
