We specialize in the true supper club atmosphere that is beloved by locals and visitors for our weddings, events and holiday brunches. We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join Team Eagle. We offer an exciting blend of classic Northwoods flavors and upscale dining experiences, serving everything from intimate dinners to weddings and banquets for up to 250 + guests. Whether you're preparing a delicate entrée for a couple celebrating their wedding or a perfectly seared steak for a family dinner, your work will contribute to creating unforgettable, Wow experiences.
Responsibilities
- Food Preparation & Cooking: Execute a variety of dishes on the line, including classic Northwoods Supper Club favorites, fine dining plates, and event catering items, ensuring consistent quality and presentation.
- Banquet & Event Catering: Assist in the preparation and service of large-scale events, including weddings, banquets, and corporate gatherings.
- Station Management: Maintain your designated station, ensuring the proper setup, cleanliness, and organization throughout service.
- Collaborative Cooking: Work closely with the Chef, and Team Eagle to ensure smooth operations, efficiency, and coordination during both regular service and events.
- Food Safety & Sanitation: Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times.
- Menu Execution: Follow recipes and plating instructions to ensure the consistency and quality of every dish served to our guests.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of kitchen experience in a line cook or similar position (fine dining and banquet experience a plus).
- A solid understanding of cooking techniques, especially grilling, sautéing, and roasting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling both regular dinner services and large-scale events.
- Attention to detail in food presentation and consistency.
- Strong team player with the ability to communicate effectively with chefs and other kitchen staff.
- Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent) preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event schedule.
