Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Appliance Delivery Driver and Helper to join our team. In this role, you will safely deliver and install household appliances while providing outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and committed to completing deliveries safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and deliver appliances to customers' homes.
- Install and set up appliances according to company guidelines.
- Lift and move heavy appliances using proper equipment and techniques.
- Protect customers' homes and merchandise during delivery and installation.
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude with customers.
- Follow all DOT and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous appliance, furniture, or heavy-item delivery experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift and maneuver 100+ pounds with assistance and equipment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a two-person delivery team.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
