We are a Construction Company that specializes in Gas, Water, Sewer, Sitework and Paving and we are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing, leveling, and setting up work zones in accordance with safety regulations.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as jack hammering, Shoveling, Raking, Luting and assembling materials.
- Mix and pour concrete and perform finishing work such as smoothing surfaces and applying sealants.
- Handle heavy lifting of materials, equipment and tools.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to ensure a secure environment for everyone on site.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment is highly preferred.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating processes are advantageous.
- Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and related masonry techniques.
- Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
