Title: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry
Location: Cleveland, Ohio
Duration: Contract Assignment
Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Position Overview:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry to provide quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. The RN will care for a diverse adult patient population and must be comfortable floating to other units as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to Medical-Surgical patients
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms when required
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition
Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
Float to appropriate units based on facility needs
Patient Population:
Required Qualifications:
Active RN License required
BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
NIHSS Certification required
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience required
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Additional Information:
Floating required based on staffing and census needs
First-time travelers will be considered based on experience
Supportive team environment with dedicated Charge RN coverage on every shift
