Duties
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations, procedures, and treatments, including surgical and diagnostic radiology procedures.
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure all supplies are stocked and ready for use.
- Perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, and patient condition reporting with precision and care.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) by accurately documenting medical information, updating patient charts, and ensuring confidentiality.
- Provide health education to patients on topics such as post-operative care, medication instructions, or lifestyle modifications to promote wellness.
- Communicate effectively with patients to address questions, explain procedures, and enhance overall patient service experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role with clinic or surgical experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical documentation standards, and electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) will be helpful.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
- Excellent client communication skills, both in person and on phone, with a focus on compassionate patient service and education.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
