We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Taxi Driver to join our team. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers. Your primary goal will be to ensure a pleasant travel experience while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. Ideal candidates will possess strong driving skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.Responsibilities
- Safely transport passengers to their desired destinations in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle, ensuring it meets all safety standards.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or other items as needed.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps, while being familiar with local routes and traffic patterns.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, friendly, and professional at all times.
- Handle cash and electronic payments accurately, providing receipts when necessary.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of passengers and other road users.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents promptly to management.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in commercial driving, bus driving, limousine services, paratransit, or as a delivery driver is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of local streets, neighborhoods, and traffic patterns is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse passengers.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Must pass background checks as required by local regulations.
- A commitment to safety and customer satisfaction is essential for success in this role.
- Note: Commercial driving experience in paratransit or similar fields is highly desirable.
