About us
We are a new faith-based preschool launching in June 2026, serving 40 children ages 2–5 with a mission to nurture hearts, minds, and spirits through Christ-centered early childhood education. We are building a joyful, safe, and developmentally rich environment where children experience God’s love daily.
Position Summary
The Executive Director oversees all aspects of school operations, including licensing, curriculum, staffing, enrollment, budgeting, and spiritual leadership. This role requires a leader who can build systems from the ground up and cultivate a culture of excellence, compassion, and faith.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual leadership consistent with our Statement of Faith
- Ensure full compliance with Florida DCF licensing standards
- Oversee curriculum selection, including faith-based curriculum eligible for state reimbursement
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise teachers and staff
- Lead enrollment, family communication, and community outreach
- Manage budgeting, purchasing, and financial stewardship
- Maintain a safe, nurturing, Christ-centered environment
- Develop policies, procedures, and operational systems for a new school launch
- Lead staff devotions, prayer, and spiritual formation
- Build strong relationships with families and church partners
Qualifications
- Personal commitment to Jesus Christ the Bible and alignment with our Statement of Faith
- Florida Director Credential (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Experience in early childhood education leadership (preschool or elementary)
- Strong understanding of DCF licensing, VPK, ratios, and compliance
- Proven ability to lead teams with grace, clarity, and accountability
- Experience launching or growing a preschool program preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $48,000–$70,000, based on experience
