Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, service-driven, and operationally minded Club Operations & Human Resources Manager to help lead the daily operations, team culture, staffing systems, and operational consistency at Wildwood Racquet + Wellness Club. This role is responsible for overseeing the operational execution of the club while also leading core human resources functions including hiring coordination, onboarding, employee systems, accountability processes, scheduling oversight, and culture implementation. The Club Operations & Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in helping ensure Wildwood delivers consistent, high-level operational execution and service support for both members and team members across all departments. This position works closely with the Director of Member Experience, Hospitality & Communications to help operationally execute Wildwood’s hospitality, service, and member experience standards throughout the facility. The ideal candidate combines operational leadership, emotional intelligence, organizational structure, and people management while thriving in a fast-paced hospitality and club environment. This role requires someone who can balance daily execution with long-term culture and systems development while supporting the continued growth and evolution of Wildwood. Wildwood Racquet + Wellness Club is the premier indoor racquets club in Fort Wayne, Indiana and is currently undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation focused on modernizing and elevating the integrated racquet club experience.
Responsibilities
Support execution of Wildwood hospitality and service standards across operational departments
Help ensure front desk operational consistency and service execution standards are maintained
Serve as a leadership presence throughout the club and assist with member concerns, problem resolution, and operational support
Support consistent execution of member-facing operational touchpoints throughout the facility
Assist in reinforcing hospitality expectations, service accountability, and operational consistency with team members across all departments
Manager on duty and attendance to weekly leadership meetings
Front desk coverage and hours
Club project management, vendors, logistics point person.
Qualifications
Strong background in hospitality operations, club management, human resources, or team leadership
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold standards while building positive team relationships
Experience managing people, operational systems, scheduling, or team accountability processes
Ability to multitask and manage multiple operational priorities simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in a fast-paced environment
Experience with HR systems, scheduling platforms, payroll coordination, or club management software is a plus
Experience in hospitality, private clubs, wellness, fitness, racquets, or service-driven environments is strongly preferred Strong emotional intelligence and ability to navigate team dynamics professionally
Ability to remain calm, solution-oriented, and adaptable under pressure
Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and during major club events as operational needs require
Ability to collaborate closely with leadership and department directors across all areas of the club
Nimble and able to adapt to the continued growth and evolution of the club environment
