Duties
- Greet customers warmly, taking their orders with enthusiasm and accuracy
- Prepare a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks, following established recipes and food safety standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and process cash transactions with precision using proper cashiering techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area by regularly cleaning counters, equipment, and food preparation surfaces in accordance with food safety guidelines
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during busy hours
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions about menu items and offering recommendations to enhance the guest experience
Experience
- Previous food service or café experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in retail sales transactions and cash handling demonstrates strong math skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is advantageous
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service skills
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient beverage preparation and prompt service during peak hours
- Passion for coffee, beverages, or the food industry is highly valued for this energetic role
