High School Science Teacher
AP Chemistry, Chemistry, & Physics
Pay is based on experience.
Christian school is seeking a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and faith-driven educator to join our high school faculty as a science teacher. The ideal candidate will have a passion for both academic excellence and discipleship, with the ability to teach upper-level science courses including AP Chemistry and Physics in a Christ-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Teach high school science courses, including AP Chemistry, on-level chemistry, and Physics
- Prepare engaging lessons that challenge and inspire students academically and spiritually
- Foster a positive classroom environment rooted in Christian values
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration
- Maintain high academic standards while encouraging student growth and confidence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field required; advanced degree preferred
- Experience teaching Chemistry and Physics at the high school level
- AP teaching experience preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A committed Christian with a heart for mentoring students
- Ability to integrate faith and learning in the classroom
