We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Welder/Metal Fabricator to join our team. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications and fabrication requirements
- Perform various welding processes
- Use measuring instruments to ensure precise measurements and cuts of sheet metal, pipe, and other metal materials
- Operate fabrication equipment for shaping and forming metal components
- Fabricate metal parts by cutting, welding, grinding, soldering, and assembling using hand tools and power tools while maintaining safety protocol adherence
- Rigging, lifting, and positioning heavy metal pieces safely using rigging gear or forklifts during assembly or installation tasks
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections conducted, and quality checks in compliance with industry standards
Experience
- Extensive shop fabrication experience working with sheet metal, structural steel, or piping systems
- Proficiency in blueprint reading
- Hands-on experience with welding techniques
- Familiarity with measuring instruments
- Ability to operate machinery such as press brakes, plasma cutters, forklifts safely within construction or manufacturing sites
