Duties
- Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements tailored to customer specifications and seasonal themes
- Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and related accessories, providing expert advice on floral care and plant identification
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and merchandising of the floral department to ensure an appealing presentation
- Manage stock levels by stocking flowers, plants, and floral supplies efficiently while monitoring inventory accuracy using POS systems
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, retail math, and processing sales transactions accurately at the POS station
- Provide exceptional customer service through friendly communication via phone or in person, addressing inquiries and offering horticultural guidance
- Support outdoor work activities such as watering plants, pruning flowers, and maintaining landscape areas to uphold the overall aesthetic of the store environment
- Delivering arrangements to customers in company vehicle.
Experience
- Previous experience in floral design
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple design projects and maintain a well-stocked floral department
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and retail sales processes to ensure smooth transactions
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Knowledge of flowers and floral care
- Experience in retail environments involving merchandising, stocking, cashiering, and customer service is highly valued
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail during events.
