Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demos when needed
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and confidence
- Maintain organized checkout areas, stock shelves, and assist with merchandising efforts
- Upsell products and promote store promotions to enhance sales opportunities
- Ensure excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information
- Support stock replenishment by stocking shelves and managing inventory levels efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
