We are seeking a Remote RN who will play an important role in delivering exceptional patient care from the comfort of your home. As a Remote Registered Nurse, you will assess patient needs, coordinate care plans, and provide vital health guidance.
- 100% REMOTE
- $80-90,000 salary + full benefit package
- Compact nursing license is a huge plus!
- Experience in workers' compensation, ER, or OR is ideal
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and receive telephonic contact with reported injured worker, employer and medical providers to obtain treatment plan, secure medical documentation, and assess if injured worker has returned to work.
- Responsible for detailed documentation within the claim system focusing on medical condition, treatment plan and return to work status.
- Direct callers to appropriate medical and/or claim resources.
- Identify and communicate urgent situations related to treatment or patient condition directly to the claim team.
- Function as nurse consultant to the claim team.
- Assess appropriate medical follow up and make necessary recommendation
Requirements:
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel spreadsheets
- Strong interpersonal, time management and written communication skills.
- Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience
- Graduate of an approved accredited school of nursing.
- Current unencumbered RN Licensure in state of residency and practicing state(s)
