Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Planning and managing logistics for both foreign and domestic shipments
- Track and report inventory and deliveries
- Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, damages
- Coordinate all inbound and outbound shipments
- Scheduling and coordination with our outside machine shop
- Manage the air and ocean shipments from our foreign suppliers
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Prepare accurate reports for upper management
- Prepare paperwork that is necessary to ship goods to our foreign customers (Customs paperwork)
- Filing claims for UPS Ground and Freight should shipment issues arise
- Monitor Harmonized Tariff Codes, updating in database as required
- Negotiate freight rates with carriers and vendors to secure cost-effective transportation solutions
Experience
- Proven experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management within transportation industries
- Hands-on experience related to Harmonized Tariff Codes
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of port regulations such as Port State Control standards is highly desirable

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
