Taurus Search is working with a fast paced start up working within PE. Our client is looking to hire a strong accounting professional, ideally with leadership experience, to join a newly created role as they continue to bring on major clients in private equity and private debt!

This role will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of client accounts - handling the coordination between the clients and the internal teams on product delivery.
Responsibilities Include:

Act as the primary point of contact for the assigned clients

Develop an in-depth understanding of the assigned client's fund structures and SOPs.

Assign workload and necessary deadlines for: capital calls, distributions, valuations, cash monitoring, management fees and reporting functions

Review and finalize quarterly financial statements, investor letters, and other required assignments

Assist with managing investor inquiries, fielding reporting questions, and other ad hoc requests

Coach and mentor team members in all aspects of work

When issues arise, create innovative solutions and manage follow up

Act as an advisor to clients
Requirements:

5-7 years in fund accounting, public accounting, or fund administration

Strong understanding of PE fund structures and operations
-
Bachelors degree required
-
CPA or MBA a plus
