Responsibilities:
- Financial Transactions – Record financial transactions into accounting software with precision and timeliness.
- General Ledger Support – Assist in maintaining and analyzing the general ledger, preparing trial balances, and reconciling accounts.
- Payment Processing – Process payments via ACH and check, ensuring secure transmission, accurate recording, and resolution of issues.
- Check Handling – Gather, validate, and balance received checks against recorded totals.
- Record Retention – Support the organization’s record retention efforts in compliance with internal policies.
- Compliance – Adhere to federal, state, and credit union regulations, laws, policies, and procedures.
- Training Completion – Complete required training to maintain proficiency in accounting principles and tools.
- Software Proficiency – Maintain strong skills in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel for financial tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis.
- Basic understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to move throughout the branch and perform various physical activities.
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, stoop, and lift up to 45 lbs.
- Manual dexterity required for operating computer keyboards.
- Work in a temperature-controlled office environment.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
