We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner and eClinicalWorks.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
- Assist with complex procedures including IV insertions, catheterizations, suturing, wound care, and ventilator management.
- Monitor patients’ conditions continuously using telemetry and other advanced monitoring equipment; respond swiftly to critical changes or emergencies in settings such as ICU or trauma centers.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care plans involving case management, discharge planning, and collaboration with physicians specializing in areas like cardiology, ophthalmology, infectious disease, or behavioral health.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options, medication regimens—including botulinum toxin treatments—and post-discharge care strategies.
- Maintain meticulous medical documentation adhering to NCQA standards and ICD coding requirements for accurate billing and legal compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with relevant state licensing boards.
- Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, ICU (including Level I & II trauma centers), or long-term care facilities.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems including Cerner and Epic; experience with laboratory testing procedures and specimen processing is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform advanced nursing skills such as IV infusion, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, ostomy care, and neonatal resuscitation procedures.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays; familiarity with geriatrics or memory care is highly valued.
- Excellent critical thinking skills combined with compassionate patient-centered communication; ability to triage effectively in urgent situations.
- Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), or specialized training in hospice & palliative medicine are advantageous.
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
