Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans
- Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients, including health coaching and guidance on healthy eating habits
- Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and make adjustments to their meal plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and dietetics
- Provide guidance on tube feeding and administer nutrition support when necessary
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
- Registered Dietitian (RD) certification
- Experience in conducting patient assessments and developing personalized meal plans
- Knowledge of human physiology and the impact of nutrition on health
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation methods related to nutrition
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of alimentary principles and their application in meal planning
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and counsel patients on nutrition-related matters
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for patient assessments and documentation
