Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and cash management procedures
- Provide information about products, services, and promotional offers to enhance customer experience
- Handle basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, and returns with precision
- Support loan processing activities when applicable, including verifying documents and explaining financial options
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to ensure an inviting shopping environment
- Use retail software and perform 10 key typing tasks efficiently to record sales and update inventory
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments
- Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus, including loan processing and cash management
- Strong math skills, including basic math and retail math for transactions and calculations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers positively
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform cashiering duties confidently
- Familiarity with financial software systems and 10 key typing proficiency
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
