Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow standardized recipes and menu specifications to maintain flavor profiles and presentation standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens and mixers
- Assist with food prep tasks including chopping, slicing, and food handling
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas by following food safety sanitizing procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with menu planning based on ingredient availability and demand
- Ensure compliance with food safety management practices and food industry regulations at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience as a pizza cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures to uphold health regulations
- Experience with high-volume production environments preferred
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently under pressure
- Familiarity with dietary department practices or dietary aide experience is a plus
- Excellent food handling skills and attention to recipe adherence for consistent quality
