Job Summary
Trumade Cabinetry is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and hardworking Warehouse Picker & Packer to join our warehouse team. The Warehouse Picker & Packer is responsible for accurately picking, staging, packing, and loading kitchen and bathroom cabinets according to company picking tickets and shipping schedules.
This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in accuracy, organization, and teamwork while working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Performance Requirement: Employees are expected to accurately complete assigned picking tickets while maintaining company quality standards. All orders must be picked accurately, completely, and on time to support customer pickups and scheduled deliveries.
Responsibilities
- Read and accurately interpret picking tickets, work orders, and shipping documents.
- Identify the difference between assembled and flat-pack cabinet orders.
- Accurately identify cabinet SKUs, door styles, colors, sizes, and modifications.
- Load customer vehicles and company delivery trucks safely and accurately.
- Assist with unloading inbound shipments and organizing inventory.
- Report damaged or missing inventory immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Assist with breaking down pallets, warehouse organization, and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Work closely with the warehouse, assembly, and office teams to meet daily shipping schedules.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Forklift Certification
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to lift and move materials (up to 75 lbs)
- Punctual, dependable, and a team player
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a cabinet warehouse, building materials, or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with cabinet SKUs, warehouse inventory systems, or RF scanners.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to become certified).
- Experience loading customer pickups and delivery trucks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
