The Safety Coordinator will:
- Assist in pre planning for safety.
- Ensure local and federal safety standards are met.
- Purchase safety equipment when needed
- Perform accident and near miss investigations.
- Take 40 hours of training every year.
- Provide safety training.
- Work with subcontractors when needed.
- Represent Crossland Construction during OSHA inspection.
Requirements
The Safety Coordinator must achieve OSHA trainer status, be flexible with a schedule an have excellent communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in Safety and Safety training specifically regarding construction is preferred.
