Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Barista and Assistant Baker to join our team. In this role, you will craft high-quality beverages, bake pastries & desserts, provide exceptional customer service, and support daily café operations. Your enthusiasm for coffee and food service will help create memorable experiences for our guests while maintaining a clean and efficient environment.
Responsibilities
- Experience in and strong knowledge of specialty coffee preferred
- Greet customers with a warm welcome
- Provide friendly and excellent customer service
- Prepare specialty coffee and tea drinks according to recipes
- Present drinks in a visually pleasing manner
- Bake fresh muffins, scones, cookies (etc.) according to shop recipes
- Bake a variety of dessert items
- Consistently drive for excellent quality
- Perform daily maintenance on equipment (dialing in grinders, cleaning procedures, etc.)
- Keep work space clean and sanitized
- Promote strong team spirit through effective communication and supporting one another
- Work flexibly with team members sharing in shop responsibilities (e.g., dish washing, food preparation, cleaning, etc.)
- Be punctual and observe regular and consistent attendance
