- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to verify employee hours, leave balances, and other compensation-related data.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and industry-specific financial regulations related to payroll processing.
- Develop and refine financial models related to payroll expenses, forecasting labor costs, and analyzing payroll trends.
- Monitor changes in tax laws, labor regulations, and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Generate detailed reports on payroll activities, discrepancies, and audit findings for internal review and external audits.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus on payroll administration or related functions.
- Strong knowledge of financial software systems used for payroll processing and accounting management.
- Familiarity with GAAP standards and industry-specific financial regulations governing payroll operations.
- Demonstrated analysis skills for developing financial models and interpreting complex data sets.
- Experience ensuring financial compliance through meticulous recordkeeping and reporting practices.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Industry knowledge of relevant financial regulations impacting payroll processes is highly desirable.
