Job Title: 2nd Shift Material Handler
Pay: $22–$24/hour + 10% shift differential
Schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM
- Friday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
- Every other Friday OFF (9/80)
- (2) paid breaks + 30-minute unpaid lunch
Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced and dependable Material Handlers to join our 2nd shift team. This role is ideal for individuals who can work independently with minimal supervision while ensuring the accurate movement and tracking of materials throughout the facility. You’ll play a key part in maintaining inventory integrity, supporting production flow, and upholding safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the movement of materials between receiving, storage, and point-of-use locations
- Perform accurate inventory transactions within ERP/MRP systems
- Maintain material traceability and ensure inventory accuracy
- Support inventory control through cycle counts and discrepancy resolution
- Organize and maintain clean, safe, and efficient storage areas
- Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Assist with logistics coordination as needed
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency
- Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members when applicable
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a material handling, warehouse, or inventory-focused role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience working with ERP or MRP systems preferred
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Solid understanding of inventory control practices
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
