Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise in interpreting construction plans, handling various tools, and working efficiently on-site will contribute directly to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines.
- Perform framing, siding, door hanging, cabinet installation, and trim carpentry with precision and attention to detail.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper use of power tool safety protocols.
- Install fixtures, mold remediation components, flooring, tile, stucco, siding, roofing elements, and perform restoration work as needed.
- Execute concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, plumbing rough-ins, electrical experience tasks, and drywall finishing including plastering.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to all safety regulations related to power tools and construction site protocols.
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction estimating and reading construction plans.
- Proficiency with blueprint reading and interpreting technical schematics for various trades.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, chisels; power tools including drills, saws for woodworking; CNC machines; and woodworking machinery.
- Strong background in residential carpentry including framing, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture setup.
- Knowledge of wood construction materials like siding, flooring materials, stucco components; ability to work with metal studs for framing projects.
- Experience with heavy lifting equipment and scaffolding; familiarity with concrete forming and rebar installation.
- Ability to perform restoration tasks such as water damage remediation and mold removal; skilled in caulking and siding repairs.
- Competence in plumbing rough-ins and electrical experience related to fixture installation or wiring basics is a plus.
- Understanding of construction site safety practices including power tool safety procedures; ability to interpret schematics for fabrication or assembly tasks.
