Posted on behalf of a confidential client by The Search, LLC, a recruiting firm specializing in financial services placements.
About the Role
Our client is an independent financial and insurance practice that helps individuals and families protect their retirement savings and plan for the future through fixed indexed annuities, indexed universal life insurance, and long-term care strategies. Their approach is personal and unhurried: safety first, steady growth, and clarity over complexity.
We're looking for a sharp, client-obsessed Coordinator to own the client experience from the first touchpoint. You'll be the person who makes sure prospects feel welcomed at every seminar, that follow-up happens without anything falling through the cracks, and that the advisor walks into every meeting fully prepared. This is a genuine growth opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in financial services or insurance.
Responsibilities
- Own the client experience at evening seminars: greeting attendees, managing check-in, and making sure every detail (from seating to follow-up notes) reflects well on the firm
- Schedule consultations for the advisor from warm seminar leads (no cold calling)
- Manage the advisor's calendar and prepare complete, organized client notes ahead of meetings
- Handle day-to-day office operations: phones, data entry, filing, and general support
- Contribute light marketing and event improvement ideas as they come up
Compensation & Benefits
- $60,000 base salary
- Incentives for seminar appointments kept, plus production-based bonuses throughout the year
- Mileage reimbursement for event travel
- Health insurance, with the company covering 50% of the monthly premium for individual coverage and 33% for family coverage
Schedule
In-office Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, plus 4-6 evening seminars per month (typically two evenings per week at the same venue, approximately 5:00 to 8:30 PM). Start time shifts one hour later on seminar days to help offset the evening hours. Occasional weekend work.
Territory
Seminars run from South Boston down the coast to the Hyannis/Cape Cod area, and west along the South Coast to the Providence, RI area. Reliable personal transportation is required for evening events.
Requirements
- 1-3+ years in a client-facing, administrative, or coordination role (more experience welcome)
- A genuine obsession with getting the details right and making people feel taken care of
- Sharp, professional communication skills, in person and on the phone
- Comfortable managing a fast-moving calendar and juggling multiple priorities
- Reliable personal transportation for evening events across the territory
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or seminar/event-based sales
- A knack for marketing or client engagement ideas
- Notary certification
- Openness to eventually pursuing an insurance license for a longer-term path within the practice
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Benefits:
Work Location: In person
