Our client a health insurance company located in MA is looking for 2 Customer Service professionals out in the Worcester, MA area to join their team on a temporary to hire basis starting towards the end of August. These would be Mon-Fri traditional office hours openings (11:30am-8pm) and would be fully remote positions. Successful candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional client services, handling inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
This role involves handling health insurance inquiries related to eligibility, claims, and benefits with urgency and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience working for a health insurance company
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to learn and navigate complex systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
- Reliable attendance and commitment to team and customer needs
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume call/email environment
- Must maintain focus and uninterrupted work time during shifts
Essential Responsibilities
- Handle inbound calls, chats, and emails regarding benefits, eligibility, and claims
- Provide first-call resolution using multiple systems
- Communicate professionally and compassionately
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company health products
- Navigate systems and documents including manuals and correspondence
- Accurately document all customer interactions
- Assist with website navigation
- Meet quality, timeliness, and adherence standards
- Support compliance and confidentiality requirements
- Participate flexibly in a dynamic work environment
- Perform additional tasks as required
