Duties
- Inspect and service pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to balance pH levels, sanitize water, and prevent algae growth.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues with pool equipment using hand tools and power tools; repair or replace faulty components as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical usage, repairs performed, and system inspections.
- Conduct safety checks on all pool systems to ensure compliance with health standards and safety regulations.
- Assist with seasonal opening and closing procedures to prepare pools for use or shutdown.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or in pool maintenance with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Knowledge of pool plumbing systems, water treatment chemicals, and equipment repair techniques, pool and spa combinations and automation systems.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in maintenance and repair tasks.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy equipment, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Prior experience in Pool Openings & Pool Closings, primarily for Inground Pools is highly desirable; certifications related to pool maintenance or chemical handling are a plus.
- A valid Drivers License

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
