Job Description:
- Weld a variety of metal surfaces and pipes using different types of welding equipment
- Perform welding on shell plating, fabricated cast, or forged components according to specifications
- Weld vessels, tanks, and other structural assemblies as required
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions
- Perform other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the role
- Proficient in all positions: flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead
- Skilled in SMAW, Flux-Core, TIG welding, and air arc gouging
- Must pass a plate test in all positions and a 6G restricted fixed pipe test using FCAW and GTAW processes
- Certified to operate high-reach equipment
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions in English
- Must be able to hear warning signals and read/comprehend safety instructions, regulations, and warnings
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years as a Journeyman Pipe Welder.
- Must be able to pass a hands on assessment.
- Must possess a valid ID or Driver's License.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical.
- Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident.
