Job Description
Position: Maintenance Technician
We are seeking dependable, motivated, and safety-conscious individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude to join our Maintenance team.
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Facilities Fabrication Manager or designated management personnel, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing assigned duties safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies and procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Perform repairs on facility equipment, including loaders, forklifts, rigging devices, overhead cranes, crawler cranes, forms, batch plant equipment, and hand and power tools.
· Conduct regular inspections of designated equipment to identify potential safety hazards and ensure proper operation.
· Diagnose equipment faults and perform system testing as needed.
· Assist other maintenance personnel with assigned tasks as directed.
· Perform preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and routine equipment servicing.
· Install replacement parts and components as required.
· Support general facility upkeep and maintenance activities.
· Coordinate with management to identify and obtain required repair parts.
· Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times while performing job duties.
· Maintain a clean, organized work area free from debris and safety hazards.
· Follow NPCC guidelines, safety procedures, and applicable work practices on a daily basis.
Qualifications, Skills, and Physical Requirements:
· Demonstrated reliability, accountability, integrity, effective communication skills, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
· Successful completion of all required safety training.
· Ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent bending, kneeling, walking, and standing on hard or uneven surfaces.
· Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy materials weighing up to 100 pounds.
· Ability to work in hot, cold, and wet conditions while consistently complying with all safety regulations.
Availability:
· Must be available to work overtime as business needs require.
· Must be available to work weekend hours based on maintenance requirements.
Schedule:
· Day shift.
· Monday through Friday.
· Weekend hours may be required based on maintenance needs.
Additional Information:
· Job duties, hours, and pay rate may vary based on NPCC’s operational needs. Employees may be asked to temporarily assist in another department or may be permanently reassigned when management determines it is necessary to support production requirements.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
