Cablenet Aerospace is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize our Production Department. This role ensures efficient and cost-effective use of personnel and equipment to meet production goals, customer requirements, and company standards. The Production Manager will oversee production flow, develop employees, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement across the department.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and train department employees through onboarding, goal setting, and communication of workplace rules and policies
- Coordinate day-to-day activities to maintain the production schedule and maximize efficiency
- Ensure production employees are properly trained to meet job requirements
- Work collaboratively with employees and other departments to resolve production issues and implement improvements
- Communicate production challenges to appropriate department managers for action
- Evaluate and process production jobs; support expedite requests when necessar
- Conduct regular employee performance evaluations
- Monitor KPIs and initiate continuous improvement efforts when expectations are not met

- Proficient computer skills, including ERP/CRM and office software

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Minimum 1 year of management experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in contract manufacturing
- Familiarity with IPC and interconnect standards
- Knowledge of processing equipment and interconnect assembly machinery
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Physical Requirements
- Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Stand or walk for prolonged periods
- Move throughout the facility without limitation
- Perform repetitive use of hands and body movements
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Report to work free of alcohol, drugs, and impairing influences
- Participate in safety improvement initiatives
- Immediately report unsafe practices, injuries, or incidents

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
