Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager for a direct hire opportunity with a full-service banking and consumer lending organization in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for a banking leader with a strong background in branch operations, deposit growth, sales management, customer service, compliance, and team development.
The Branch Manager will oversee daily branch performance, lead and coach branch employees, strengthen customer relationships, support community engagement, and ensure operational excellence. This is an in-office leadership role offering stability, visibility, and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on branch growth and customer experience.
This opportunity is well suited for a hands-on manager who enjoys building high-performing teams, creating a welcoming branch environment, and working with supportive leadership to achieve sales, service, compliance, and community banking goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of a full-service bank branch, including customer service, sales performance, compliance, security, safety, and operational controls.
- Lead, coach, hire, train, and develop branch employees while conducting regular performance conversations, evaluations, and staffing support.
- Drive branch growth through deposit acquisition, relationship building, outbound calling, customer profiling, referrals, and local business development.
- Monitor branch performance, expenses, audits, reports, overdrafts, exceptions, and compliance with internal policies and state and federal banking regulations.
- Resolve complex consumer and business account issues while modeling a customer-first service culture and coaching the team to deliver an exceptional branch experience.
- Represent the branch in the local community, support CRA-related initiatives, and participate in professional, civic, or business organizations.
